Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team at a busy, fast-paced dry-cleaning facility in Tallahassee, FL. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. This is a hands-on, in-store position working directly at the front counter and in the garment processing area. You will assist customers in person, handle garments, and support daily store operations.
The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, computer savvy, and comfortable working on their feet in a service environment. You must be able to remain calm under pressure.
***IMPORTANT: This not a remote position. This role requires working on-site inside our dry cleaning store in Tallahassee, FL. Applicants must currently live in the area.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers at the front counter and assist with orders
- Tag, sort, and organize garments accurately
- Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
- Handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
- Document all customer interactions
- Meet personal and team quotas
- Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred
- Comfortable using computers and customer management software
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of active listening techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented (critical for garment tagging and order accuracy)

Compensation: $0.14 - $0.15 per hour
